Where it's cold...
Expeditions to the far north require participants to rest in anything from open air (extreme cold) to wooden
cabins (heated air). Thus the challenge is not creating a sleeping bag for maximum cold resistance, but a
sleeping bag that will suit a variety of contrasting sleeping conditions. Polar — our flagship sleeping bag
was designed to be such a multitasker. Special hollow fiber technology allows Polar to preserve body
heat while evaporating body moisture — it is a sleeping bag that can handle extreme cold, but can still be
used in a wooden cabin with a burning wood stove. Large amounts of hollow fiber filler also acts as a
cushion on hard surfaces (which, let's be honest, you will encounter out North) making the sleeping
experience far more comfortable.
